Vintage Graphics Magazine Purse - The New Yorker May 20, 1967
This is a cute purse featuring a commonly occurring interior design project! It is a one of a kind, 100% handcrafted vintage magazine purse made out of an original New Yorker magazine from May 20, 1967. The front cover of the purse shows a funny scene with a decorating dilemma and the back cover features an AT&T advertisement with a vintage phone staged as a "wife preserver"- both from the actual magazine. This purse is constructed with laminated graphics attached to wood veneer and then hand riveted with coordinating vintage style bronze metal rivets. The side and bottom panels are made with a beautiful and sturdy red leather insert and the straps are an upgraded black leather, making the purse into larger style handbag. This unique purse measures approximately 8 1/2" wide by 11 1/2" in height. Here's a great bag for the head of the household!
